It would make sense as on the second screen shot that is pretty much the right size for a small oil spawn. I guess this is not intended to happen, the reason its a beta pack I guess.

I had something similar on a server, I kept crashing everytime I joined. The admin found out that it was an RP frame with a damage value of 1. The best way is to just cross check item ids and look for one that match or ones that may harass damage value.

I have seen many videos of people using tinker construct picks and they are being able to place torches (with a right click of the mouse it looks like) Is this a default thing or is there something extra that need to be added to the pick?

That's a very good idea. I didn't really think about a new modifier in between the current ones.
