Dartcraft: One of the most overpowered mods of our time

In 1.5.2, it absolutely does. You can be invulerable with top tier tools in an hour of server up, and you only really need to mine until you get that single first force ore to start it all off. Watch servers like mindcrack, they're still scrimping diamonds months into the map. Because...

Dartcraft: One of the most overpowered mods of our time

The idea you never re-create items your character is intended to carry is just a symptom of the "no risk at ANY COST!" mentality of the non-game design in most mods. Hint: You're supposed to have a death count in survival Minecraft.

Dartcraft: One of the most overpowered mods of our time

In an older version of Dartcraft, I got a thousand a day, with only a dozen or so vanilla spawners. Which means they only worked when I was in range. In the newest 1.5.2 version, I get 200 or so in 24hours with 4 tier5 spawners. Before I had those setup though, a 9x9 cursed earth spawner...

Dartcraft: One of the most overpowered mods of our time

If, and only if, you use Mystcraft to create ages specifically for it. And even then that's stretching it. Mystcraft is another mod that breaks design assumptions, Azinor didn't design for so many barrows popping up. In our servers, rather large, maps we've had 2 and 1 barrows in each map...

    1.2.5 was special, wasn't it?

So the solution is to get modders (not modded players) in general agreement to skip a Mojang update. People don't want to update to 1.6 and didn't want to update to 1.5 because of the Mojang content, they want to because all the new modded content is strictly in the newer version...

    1.2.5 was special, wasn't it?

I'm judging the play I saw on videos, which I did experience.

    1.2.5 was special, wasn't it?

None of it. I quit playing vanilla before 1.2.5 and never played modded until 1.4 Looking at videos, it looks really boring. Lots of creative-mode-but-lets-not-call-it-that

Pro tip: Don't force wrench Mystcraft desks.

Force wrench exists specifically to interact with mod items.

Vajra isn't broken. Everything listed is a multi-mod interaction.

Pro tip: Don't force wrench Mystcraft desks.

It's not intended as security. It's not posting obvious exploits as if they were intended functionality.

Or maybe most of us don't post what are obviously exploits.

Pro tip: Don't force wrench Mystcraft desks.

This. The idea of the force wrench isn't unique, nor is it technically difficult. There's a reason it hadn't been done in the past, and that reason is it doesn't really work even when it seems too. If anything, it should be a white list. Add strictly containers (vanilla chests, iron...

[Help] Dense ore age not working?

Not really. 2x ore won't even be noticed, particularly with the loss of the modded ores.

[Help] Dense ore age not working?

With normal ore generation, you get all the normal overworld ores. With dense ores, you get dense vanilla ores and only the ores mods have registered specifically for dense ore usage - which is a grand total of none. In effect, "dense ores" is "vanilla only ores"

Pro tip: Don't force wrench Mystcraft desks.

In 1.5.2, Dartcraft has the best tools, bar none, and as-invulnerable-as powersuits, all available in an hour or so of server up. In 1.6.2, leveling a tome up has been extended (perhaps too much) making it less of a "get early, and use forever" type mod. And, in 1.5.2, for the cost of some...

Pro tip: Don't force wrench Mystcraft desks.

That's an awful lot of work (and afking within 16 blocks). In general, modded minecraft balances out as "work required to design is profitable" On a server, the 16 block player distance effectively makes any system relying on the output of such Broken as Designed, as it will quickly run out...

Pro tip: Don't force wrench Mystcraft desks.

The first one is major, the second not so much. By the 64th, you'll have more than you'd ever use on a server even if it stayed up for a year without wipes. Unless you use it directly as fuel in a IC2 generator/BC sterling engine (It's utterly nerfed in boilers). Which means it's pretty much...

Pro tip: Don't force wrench Mystcraft desks.

"Chest ception" is fixed in 1.6. Oddly, moving spawners is like the one thing I've never found to be abusive that you do. The repeated crash risk isn't worth it though, even if no abuse was possible.

Do i put a elite battery in every piece of armor on my powersuit?

The power positivity comes from the legs, not the helm.

Do i put a elite battery in every piece of armor on my powersuit?

Since a properly designed powersuit is power positive, you could theoretically do with just one of the smallest batteries in one piece
