It's a config option. After 3 days dayblooms, nightshades and hydroangeas dissapear, POOF!!! You cannot do anything about it, but you can make endoflames, they are the best choice for starting.

I know about that feature, but I don't know why can't you make for example slime crossbow limb / body . Those materials are the best ones you can use, because slime is pretty much a machine gun...

Try reinstalling / updating the modpack, may be a corrupted file.

If you have at least the basic botania set up then you can make pasture seeds by throwing grass(harvest tall grass with shears) into a mana pool with a little bit of mana in it. The pasture seeds make grass blocks out of dirt, just right click on a bunch of dirt and let the magic happen!

I tried everything that had "Slime" in its name (yes the crystals too...)

Anybody knows why can't I make slime crossbow body / limb ? I think it could be because of iguana tweaks, but I've already got a slime crossbow body (blue) and I don't remember how... it may have been a quest reward I am not sure... Is it meant to be like that or is iguana tweaks just not updated?

Well I think I'm not the only one who would like that change :-P But I am pretty curious about "updating" those levels, I don't know if they stay there like they are now or update themselves for moar levelz!
