Personally I am still unsure about GregTech, I understand why it's there as to add balance and all...but some things seem to be rather....redundant like the OP mentioned, and some things are rather very expensive to make now (like macerators needing diamonds...wha?)

You're very welcome :D Which is true, but I had not expected my server host to be aware of FTB already, let alone that they will do it all for you. I am frankly quite sure that many would, if not only for the simply fact that FTB is up to date and runs with 1.4.2 rather then Tekkit's 1.2.5

Well after some reading through the forum, it seems this was already an issue before the official release, so I have to suspect that this is a launcher issue and not exactly an issue with Java itself.

Well that's nice and all for people who use 64 bit PC's, but those with 32 bit apparently cannot go beyond the 1024 line, which is kind of bothersome.
