Sounds like your card is setup for surround when you have a stereo setup. check you sound blaster control panel for that. If that doesnt work try right click on the windows volume control in the taskbar, select playback devices, find your x-fi soundcard and right click it, select configure...

Yeah sounds are working in ic2 latest releases. Check and see if disabled by default in the cfg

Journey map is no good on ftb. It cant render the extra biomes. The mini map in game is better
