Yeah, that was my plan kind of. I was going to make a pool of essence using the floodgate for it to be perpetually refilled (with a straw you can drink the source blocks and gain exp) when it's drank. But no floodgate in the version I'm playing on.

Yeah you can. You can place it with a bucket. It also gives you a night vision buff if you touch it.

The winsock reset has stopped my IP webcam working. The webcam is attached to my mobo's ethernet port and has a static IP. Any ideas on how to get this working again? Wired lan says "Unidentified network". :(

That's for the reply. The issue is now solved. I followed instructions that reset Winsock or something like that and once I restarted it just worked.

Basically, 32-bit works fine on both FtB launchers and MC launcher. If I uninstall that and install 64-bit Java, it acts as if the mojan servers are down on both launchers. I've tried everything I can google including disabling virus software and the windows firewall. Windows is fully updated...
