    I believe the oregen is the same as on that page. At least I've never noticed a difference. However the book did also list where it spawns in Galacticraft dimensions (moon/mars/asteroids) so now the only way is via reading the config :(

    Spessartine veins ARE manganese veins. AFAIK all of this is true in this pack. The only three ores which contain manganese as a non-byproduct, and that spawn by default, are spessartine, tantalite, and pyrolusite, and they all spawn together, along with grossular.     Yup, it's in gregtech.cfg in the gregtech config folder. "hardermobspawners" is the specific setting. Also, you don't have to break the spawner to get the loot... you can always just break the chest itself...

    Noticed something weird today when looking for the easiest way to get flint dust and calcite with minimal effort- ProjectRed Basalt (from volcanoes) isn't registered in the ore dict as stoneBasalt, so you cannot macerate it into basalt dust. You can only macerate abyssal stone into basalt dust...

    It's nitrogen, water, and carbon not hydrogen and carbon to make glyceryl. Nitrogen does come from centrifuging air (or distilling it, but that's way more expensive power-wise).

    Try out Pyrolusite's GregTech alternate texture pack, it changes just GT textures, including ores, if soartex affects performance too much or you just don't like it.

    HV (universal) macerator has two slots, I haven't tried but I'm assuming EV (universal pulverizer) has three and IV (Blend o matic or whatever) has all four.     You can get it as the second byproduct of redstone ore (pulverizing purified ore and centrifuging purified dust). But then you miss out on cinnabar for mercury.

    Unless you're an idiot like me and threw out most of the lithium from the vein because you thought it was cobble and you didn't realize until it already despawned. I have had to make cadmium batteries because I didn't want to waste lithium but wanted a better buffer than sodium.

    Anyone else getting incorrect fluids in NEI? It says that using electrum in a fluid extractor gives molten tin, which solidifies back into electrum for example. To make circuits NEI says you need either molten Nickel, Manyullyn, or Praseodymium, which you get by melting tin, lead, and soldering...

    Oh no :eek: Haven't had that happen to me luckily... and ironically I have AromaBackup installed on the server. Also, for anyone that doesn't follow the GT thread, there's another texture pack for GregTech released a couple of days ago if you want to mix things up.

    I manually set my location in the FTB launcher options (to Nottingham) and it looks like it's fine (though downloading slowly, but that's probably on my end). EDIT: I can't help but notice Binnie's mods is now updated to pre1... this pleases me greatly :)

    I just checked out Funky Locomotion, not exactly what I had in mind but seems cool. Unfortunately vanishing frames are a little expensive right now... still haven't gotten to the end.

    There is a recipe for Enderium via Ender IO I believe (I made a enderium shovel the other day for silk touch). Would adding Funky Locomotion cause any problems? Anyone tried it?
