    Also, I looked in Activity Monitor (the Mac version of Resource Manager, I think) and it says the server was only using about 8 gigs when it gave the memory error.

    It is version 16d, which doesn't appear to be the latest as that is version 25g.I tried the 25g and it crashed immediately, along with the client. The server crash report is attached.Does it really need more than 20 gigs?

    This appears to be the latest one. But it does say that "Some errors may have been discarded"...It has crashed many times since then and it hasn't made any more, so whats in there might not be the whole problem.
