    Yeah, found out that biomes o plenty do that to oceans if it's set to default world gen. Went ahead and disabled it, glad to know that for the future.

    So I recently got back into minecraft again after probably a year long hiatus. Got a new base going, everything going swell, but I didn't have any cactus. So I set out in search of a desert.
