I use the curse client a lot too, especially running my own modpack, but im not sure about it..Not to dis the program at all but, Ive never used the voice part, and Im not really a fan of having another program with friends and a bunch of stuff i dont need running in the background.. I remember a while ago, it was spread around that a better ftb launcher was in development. The only development ive seen about the topic is the curse voice thing.. So im wondering if anyone could explain the current situation in relation to the launcher.

Ok, but what if i wanted a private pack, but just wanted to add a few mods into a big pack, use monster for example, could i copy the already configured mods from there without the hassle of fixing them all if i had perms for all the mods, or would i need permission from the ftb team to copy...

am i allowed to copy the mods folder of a ftb modpack? or is it copyrighted
