Nuts to Lava for the Thermo's. Use Uranium Blocks. Much better power than lava. Constantan is only Copper+Nickel and in a pinch can be made in the Immersive Engineering Alloy Kiln. Don't forget Thermal Expansion armors. Invar is cheaper than Iron and nearly as good as Diamond for protection.

Did you try the actual Immersive Engineering Capacitors? And do you have Mekanism in the pack? It seems occasionally able to force behavior when other mods won't. Such as sucking power out when other mods won't allow it. Or forcing it in surprisingly.

As far as I know, the maximum in/out speed is limited to 2000mb/t total. Though it might be per fluid in/out.

I honestly haven't worked out even what to use Chaos Nodes for, much less how to move them. Actually Additions restorer?

The basic switch only works for LV or I believe MV power. The redstone Breaker is required for HV.

Flux ducts should work. I think Tier 3 is what you need for more than 4k.

Hmm... if you can manage it, given the lighting update issues, Twilight forest has Ur-ghasts, which are very small ghasts that also drop the Tears. They're in either the third or fourth area though, so you need to kill a Naga and a Lich for sure. I'm pretty sure the Hydra is the third monster...
