    I forgot to make the server executable.. That's why I didn't have permission to start it without root. Thanks for the replies (y) Tl;dr If anyone's wondering, chmod a+x ServerStart.sh

    @Ommina It's just that I have to sudo run the server. And in htop it says the server is run by root. Are you sure?
