We know. But we can't update a pack to a pre-release version of Minecraft with a save feeling. We have to wait for the official release but i hope to get updates done within a few days after the official release of MC 1.4.7

It is a rare vanilla Minecraft issue to be correct. Forge just fixed it in 6.6.0.493 IIRC. But if you would have researched a bit one would have noticed that ALL Forge versions above 489 are for Minecraft 1.4.7 which currently is still a snapshot afaik.

We already had the IC2 miner set up to mine those ores for our 1.4.2 and 1.4.5 test packs. But while updating the config from 1.4.5 to 1.4.6 we forgot to copy the settings. Sorry if this has caused some issues on your servers/your game experience.

To pump out of the BC tanks you need a Waterproof wooden pipe with either a gate or engine(redstone engine is fine) attached to it.

The doc is official ;) And the Ultimate pack will not come out until the issues with some mods are fixed (Forestry sapplings or Mystcraft portals for example). Without those issues beeing fixed there is no point in releasing a big pack as it is bound to run into even more errors and crashes...

Ok will you please stop telling people what to do? I know you are against Factorization with a devotion, but i don't care. I will use whatever i think is best and suits my needs!

I am not looking for an easy setup, sorry. For me the combination of both systems seems to be a nice way to handle different ores and their outcomes to what is needed at that moment in time.

From the looks of it a combination of TE and Factorization plus a "sorting" system gives the best possible output, is that correct? Now i need to make myself such a ore production system :)

The combination of both barrels and chest is imho he best way to go as you have it layed out. An all barrel looks cool but takes up a huge amount of space. An all chest is normally small but can have problem with really common items.
