I thought the dense pipes were supposed to make items less likely to want to go into the chest, it's the vacuum one that makes them more likely, right? I have a wall o' barrels for everything except armors and tools/weapons and such, things that can't use barrels because of damage and enchants...

Probably best to use a trashcan anyway, the QDS thing is more of a "bug" exploitation than an actual feature, I think.

Even better, use slabs first. You can reorient them using the crescent hammer when you're able to make enough torches. ;)

What were you trying to do? Because if you were trying to use the Fruit Picker on the field crops, you need to use a harvester instead, which will leave in place the crops that can be 'picked' like tomatoes (or anything else that stays at 50% when you handpick).
