Actually, this one goes in "mods"

For FTB all I did was add it through ftb (in mods) and then went to the advanced options and for additional java parameters I put "-Dfml.ignoreInvalidMinecraftCertificates=true -Dfml.ignorePatchDiscrepancies=true" That should be about it.
