UPDATE: This was a problem with incomplete information on the wiki. The auto spawner needs a non-solid block above and below it in order to spawn some mobs. Anyways, this thread can be closed.

After some more research I expanded the room to 16 x 16 and 9 tall. Still nothing. I am now sure it is not the size of the mob causing the issue. Exact copy has been tried both enabled and disabled. Neither seem to work.

I have a fully powered auto spawner with full mob essence with a 14x14 room that's 7 tall. And I've given it 25 minutes since full power, full work, and full mob essence was achieved and haven't spawned a single ghast. The ghast is in a reusable safari net. The floor is solid blocks (stone)...

I am on a server I own. Regular Survival on normal difficulty with the Monster modpack. I take some amount of damage between 1/2 of a heart and 2 hearts every couple seconds. Doesnt cause durability loss on my armor. My hunger bar is full. And it doesn't matter where I go. No mobs or other...
