    I mined a good long while with an iron pickaxe, never got to redstone level even after a few hours, so I did eventually just pulverize until I was able to make steel. Btw I love the egg quest. No spoilers but man that's some hardcore Minecraft.

    Anyone else hitting a wall trying to progress in mining? I get that I need to make steel dust to get to redstone level mining, but so far as I can tell the only way I can see to do that is with manganese, which requires redstone level mining to mine. Am I missing something? Or are we supposed...
