Yeah that would probably be a lot cooler than AE. Also looking for a good base design. I definitely like the idea of being able to see items going through pipes and it would be cool to have the AE system also with storage buses to the chests. Should I start again from scratch or continue with...

I've got automated mining and ore processing up and running. Also have an AE System and a liquid fuelled boiler running some steam dynamo's. Got a lava pump in nether powering some magmatic dynamo's too. Got heaps of resources now so can really build most items.
