I deleted blast off from the FTB directory so it downloaded fresh. Only thing was to save time I gave myself the xp drain and tanks this time. Armor had some damage. I had a little xp to start. Hit armor with hammer 1 time. Stood over xp drain.

Here's some shots, I go from some xp to a full bar with 1 whack of the blacksmith's hammer. Then when I step on the xp drain, poof, counting down from 45. I was trying to repair the starting sword and armor, which can be done so you never lose them, as long as you have plenty of time to click...

Try it with armor or weapon on the blacksmith's anvil, that's what does it... Sorry, I didn't realize it was specific items until I tried to recreate it.

Awesome and fast response. I also found an exploit/bug. If you have anything less than a full level of experience, then use the blacksmith's anvil, the experience bar will move from 25/50/75%. After doing that, if you stand on the xp drain you're instantly at level 50. Giving unlimited xp.

Has anyone played with eureka? Trying to see what's worthwhile, and what's not. I think this got lost in the posts. Edit:I quoted the wrong post, sorry.

The duster, is this a bug that it doesn't accomplish anything but using two buckets of lava to end up with the same thing? When it becomes dust it can't be smelted, and when placed in the ore conversion table can be made into crushed ore (which you get 2x dust, so the same thing as 1 hardened...

Curious question. I did a fresh re-install of the blast off folder, and started the new map. When running through, you end up getting the engineer's book for the Eureka mod stuff, and I cannot seem to get the basic duster to work to progress in this book. Is this expected? If it's supposed...

Slandering the mod developer isn't the same as constructive criticism or a bug report. Nobody is forcing you to play the modpack, it didn't cost you anything to download or play it, and you really should just not say anything if you can't be positive. You found something you don't like about...

Anyone had issues with squids spawning like mad? I have a 5x5x5 "fishing pond" and the squids are spawning so often that there are piles of squid drops in minutes. It's like an infinite source of squid drops, since they end up dying from suffocating on their own. This happened after the 1.2.5...
