    same sort of problem i got 128mb of permgen on 2 gigs of virtual ram 2 gigs of normal ram (same stuff i use to start normal nonmodded minecraft) and when i open it crashes i think the cause of the crash is were it puts libarys assets and versions it puts it in the wrong folder %appdata%/FTB...
