    It's an Alienware m14x r2, that's about as much as I know about it. Yes it's a laptop. I do use the .exe version for the launcher. As for CPU usage: 15-20% with normal minecraft up. 15-20% when using the FTB client with no mods enabled. Not sure what GPU is.

    It's not a matter of my computer being unable to run it. It's more of an issue of the client lowering my FPS. I opened normal minecraft, 150 fps, left it open.     I have also created an instance of the FTB client through MultiMc but it still results in massive lag .

    Yes, I bumped the ram allocation up to 1500MB Min and 3000MB max and recently downloaded the 64 bit version of Java Update 9.

    When I play normal Minecraft with the regular launcher, I get a steady 150-200 frames on far render with normal settings. When I use the FTB launcher to play the mods within it, I get 10-20 fps. When I use the FTB launcher to play vanilla minecraft (disabled every mod) I still get a very low...
