    Is that the issue? I can't play without Optifine, far too laggy. So I'll have to give up on texture packs if Optifine is the issue.

    Only the 1.5 packs crash. The 1.6 packs just stay as default after freezing for a few seconds.

    After the OP I tried using Unleashed and I am using 1.5 textures for it. Last I played FTB I used the 1.4 packs and I had no problem using Sphax on Mindcrack, Yogcraft or Ultimate. I have restored my computer to factory settings since then but still...

    Double Post however I noticed this. When I try to load the Sphax FTB Textures without the vanilla sphax textures it crashes. The other way around however works. I can use vanilla Sphax textures without the FTB ones. So that leads me to leave sphax FTB textures are the problem?

    I have tried using Unleashed, Direwolf 1.5.2 and Direwolf 1.6.4 all the same problem. Whenever I try to use Soartex from the launcher for Any of the 1.5 packs it cannot find a texture pack for specific modpacks version. There is no Download for 1.6 Direwolf? Or is the standard Direwolf20 one...

    I did exactly that yes. Downloaded and dragged the files in. Thats not it though. When I try to load Sphax without FTB Textures in it still doesn't work When I try to load a texture pack in Unhinged or Unleashed it does the same thing. But Minecraft crashes.

    I have done both of those things. The textures are 64x but it also will not load 32x. I have 4.25GB of Ram out of my 6GB Added to it. Could I be allocating too much?

    So whenever I try to change texture packs from default to say Sphax for example it doesn't let me. FTB Freezes as it does when changing texture packs. Then it just stays as default and unfreezes. I am assuming the problem is caused by Optifine which I have installed although it is a custom...
