No, at the time it wasn't and I was choosing the axe. But after getting off for awhile and sleeping for the night, it decided to work in that time and let me claim it as soon as I got back on.
Is it just me that can't claim rewards on the Getting Wood! quest? It still unlocks all the ones after, but just doesn't let me click 'claim reward'. For now I'll just cheat in the rewards, just wanting this to be known.
