So Im currently trying to take over a walled village, I have 6 ethereal blooms, I am slowly working everything back to green, but how do I keep it gone? I am destroying tainted nodes as I come across them, but is there anything else I can do to combat it back behind the walls and keep it there...

I placed some lava recently and my screen started to darken and Flash around the edges as a you could hear a heartbeat. It really freaked me out. Does anyone know what this is from? Does it even have to do with the lava or was that coincidence?

How do I get the ability to scroll over the aspects and see what they connect to? I've played Thaumcraft before and had it, but I don't in this pack. And I absolutely need it for me to be able to do any research. Lol. Anyone know how to get it?

I'm doing a Let's Play and I'm afraid yo update. I'm two updates behind, with the aether still in. Will I lose everything if I update? And if I do should I just update to the previous one and not the newest one seeing as its having lots of problems? Or should I just stay where I am? Thanks!

One thing, that I would enjoy.. Would be somewhere in the beginning of the quest book would be listing the 4 ways to remove the taint. Not anything too overly specific, but telling us what we need to be working towards. :)

How can I slow down the taint progression? I stayed in one area for two nights and all the trees were already gone, and all the dirt was starting to change over. Is it supposed to be this fast? 0.0
