I think steel is how you get thaumium level. But it's been a while since I was on regrowth. I may start a new playthrough though.

oddly enough, when i relaunched and tried to do it again (after i crashed from having glass in the chisel GUI) i tried to see if i could retry to make the copper, it didnt work and all of the chisel blocks had their normal oreDictionary entries. so cobble wont become copper. i have no idea why...

just an fyi, when you chisel cobblestone, the blocks have some oreDictionary things, and when you try to chisel them back to another block, you can get metals....i got copper blocks from cobble. i hope this gets fixed soon before the temptation becomes too great :P
