Thanks! I notice you are from Denmark-- my baby brother moved to Copenhagen three years ago, really likes it. You've got some amazingly beautiful art & architecture there!
Mooseman9, frederikam is exactly right. Might I suggest you very slowly & carefully read this thread--http://forum.feed-the-beast.com/index.php?threads/statement-re-technic-and-tekkit.5/ -- so you can see precisely why Technic/Tekkit is inferior as a mod pack, and discover the intransigence, immaturity & lack of ethics on behalf of the Technic/Tekkit compilers.
Well I read it again, and I really see no problem with how Kakermix went about doing things. He was mostly right about everything he posted. But on the topic of permission, last time I checked, they had most permissions, except for Railcraft and another mod or two. That doesn't mean I endorse Technic or anything, just fact checking.
Mooseman9 The issue wasn't that thet Technic folks had most permissions, that was fine. The problem was they didn;t get all permissions, and even one violation is wrong. I personally have an issue with the violation of one's copyrighted works & intellectual property-- it happened to me in my professional capacity, and it sucks.
(Con't) It sucks more for the modders who didn't have the legal fortifications I did to fight it. I just want to see fairness and correct usage. It's not about money-- it's about personal pride on both ends-- the makers and the users.
