Mage Quest vs Magic World 2?

Hi I'm a new minecraft player and I was looking for making a server for me and my brother play, focused in magic mainly
I would like to know the main difference between these two modpacks and if I could merge them together so i could have maximum content.

Well, for one, they're on different Minecraft versions. Magic World 2 is the older one.

Yeah, i noticed it later, so magequest is technically the best option for me, thanks ^^
