I edited my potion post as yes, regen potions probably aren't fast enough, instant health pots tho, they are. Just trying to give you an out since you really don't want a mob spawner, even tho in my opinion, it's worth it for blood magic.

Ok my mistake, I guess I just always returned to fill it while still retaining some progress... You could get some regen or instant health potions brewed up to help since the apples only give you regen for a few seconds. You've got a brew stand don't you?
