Ever heard of Essentialcraft 3? i don't know if it will fit with the modpack, but it's worth a look anyway.

Possible concept: bosses like between each age you have fight some kind of boss to progress. this could be like a customnpc boss, the tinkers king slime, twilight forest or possibly a vanilla boss made of blocks. (see spoiler) i personally think it would be a very cool implementation.

Bug: the recipe for the water & earth seeds on the runic altar don't use up the runes in v. 0.9.1. Worked in earlier versions.

No, not at all, Garden of Glass is a world type made by botania, which is completely different from the intended world. just generate a default world. all of the stuff generates automagically with default.
