    Tools for Pack Creators

During the development of Survival Industry, we had a new tweaking tool created. The JavaScript Mod Loader, or JMOD for short, is a tweaking tool that allows extensive tweaking of a game, including creation, modification, and removal of blocks, items and fluids, including recipes, ore...

Yes, you can get the launcher at atlauncher.com; it provides the ability to install instances of the modpack with customization of installed mods. Also, instead of downloading everything in one giant zipfile, mods are downloaded individually, meaning that updates only download mods that have...

Are you using ATLauncher? The pack has not been updated in the FTB launcher for some time. Sent from my SPH-L720T using Tapatalk

Ore flowers can only spawn on grass blocks. Actually, that's custom code in si.core that provides the feature. We are aware of the issue; this only happens if you use a broken tool to finish breaking a block that was started using multi-mine. There's not much that can be done, except to...

They just have to touch, it doesn't matter which side is in contact with the block. Your idea may be more efficient with the compost, but it would likely make for a trickier field to harvest. also, remember that the blocks on top will need water blocks at the same level in order to be...

initially, no. However, once you have an autocrafter, an Expanded Redstone pump, and some form of item piping, fresh water should be trivial. A compost block from Vegan Option needs to be touching a farm block. Then, it increases the crop growth rate for that farm block. I usually place the...

Since getting to copper would be difficult, we decided to add recipes to simulate ceramic cookware with flint silverware. That way, the farming could truly come first, and when survival needs were met, it would then be time to begin the industry. I didn't just randomly pick a name folx! :P

The current version of SI has an extremely long tree decay time; I'm working on tweaking that to something a little quicker, but still lasting at least 1 "year" before the first trees start to decay. It'll be a while before HW compost is ready for grassification. Also, the vein structure has...

The ore in question is the Electricraft ores. For copper, motherlodes spawn somewhere between 32 and 64, as well as between 160 and 256 in mountain ranges (in other words, ore is doubled in mountain biomes). You can see the details about all the ores in Survival Industry in this spreadsheet...

I have decided to migrate Survival Industry over to ATLauncher, in order to focus on that launcher. This decision was reached for several reasons: On ATLauncher, the pack is actually listed; no pack code is necessary for play. Survival Industry's place on the ATLauncher list is entirely based...

If more ore flowers appear, the ore is no deeper than 40 blocks below your level. The more frequent the ore flowers, the closer to the surface the ore is. If no ore flowers spawn, then the ore's at least 40 blocks down, and likely further. Sent from my SPH-L720T using Tapatalk

Survival Industry has an alloying mechanic (called "Backyard Metalcasting") that was also used to replace base smelting. You need to form a crucible from a block of sand and a block of clay, and smelt it to make a fired crucible. Then, you put 1 ore or 2 ingots in the fired crucible, and smelt...
