If you really want to roleplay it, you might want to start with a set of stone tools anyways, and say you were shipwrecked. It still wouldn't explain how your character is a walking sawmill, of course, or how steam can be kept as a gas in tanks for a long period of time, but I don't worry about...

What do you use the flint for, exactly? Do you shoot the tree down with arrows, or light it on fire?

Batboxes can store energy, and I think generators, furnaces, and the like still work onboard, although I'm not sure how "floating" wires (like BuildCraft and IC2) stick to panels. All blulectric things work amazingly, though.

Well, f*ck. It's broken again, but this time it only crashes when I start typing into NEI. I thought I'd gotten rid of that when I upgraded my Java, but I guess it's come back to haunt me. I'll upload files later, gonna go play some Awesomenauts.

I updated my FTB yesterday, and it worked fine; now, today, it crashes on launch. Any ideas? Crash report attached.
