Sounds about right. I was delving in a roguelike, and got yanked through the metal bars by a zombie and thrown at a spider. Had to rely on the dogs to back them off while I broke the bars to GTFO.

So... part of my bunker has, for no reason I can figure, been taken over by a mineshaft. It's running right down the back of the bunker opposite where the small dimensional storage area is. Got lucky and had put my Sync clone beyond where it appeared, but still, suddenly mineshaft! I'm confused.

Fastest way I can think of in this pack is getting the Blood Magic bound pickaxe, figuring out a way to get a lot of LP in your soul network through automation of a blood altar, and some form of flight, wandering around and eating massive chunks of ground right-clicking with the pickaxe. Other...

I'd probably hit the tower for the early torches and pants, then quickly slip through the village for gravel and their treasures, then wander off into the forest to get the first setup out there, mostly to get some distance from that tower to make it easier to dig around.
