Thank You! First world I made, the castle spawned and not to far away it looks like a barn filled with mobs. Is a quest book suppose to be in the castle or inventory? I can use a shortcut to get it, but I was curious about an actual book.

I downloaded the pack via Curse launcher. The version is 1.04. I started a map, and there was no quest book. I did open the grave/tilda key which opened the quest book and the first quest talked about a castle. So I am assuming there is suppose to be a map with this? Where is the map located at?

I have the same problem. I was playing these modpacks last night without difficulty.

What I did to get started in making a smeltery was to use those stones from sifting dust and melt them in a crucible...attach a faucet and pour some bricks into an ingot mold. It took a while to get enough bricks for a basic smeltery, Once there, didnt take too long to really make seared...

Yes, it is the books. They are from the city and will not work. The hint to make ONE book put in a chest (without the others so they don't stack and change meta data). Get the others and drop them on the ground. Get the book you just made, then go get the ones on the ground. When you pick them...
