Are you sure you weren't using the advanced MK2 extractor? Recreate the setup in a single-player creative world and have a play around.
I generally skip the MK2s and go for the MK3s when I need to pull a lot of items fairly quickly.
Are you sure that the system is getting enough power as well?
Awesome, that's good to hear! As far as I'm aware you need separate sides with the TE3 machines unless you're using Factorisation routers. On the plus side even a stone pipe will extract so it's not that costly.
For compact setups I'd have basic logistics pipes for extraction (so they're smart...
I had exactly the same problem, it's something that's been fixed in newer versions of LP.
As a workaround you can just connect the output face to a normal stone/golden pipe since the TE machines auto-eject. The bug's been fixed and mine are still all like that since it works well enough for me.
It will affect everyone on it since you'll need to restart it:
A server is a server is a server, as long as you have command-line access and can use nano/vi/emacs to edit the server.properties file (in the same place as ServerStart.sh) you should be fine :)
Exactly, no problem for private servers! Still, I'll be changing it back when I'm done to be on the safe side. I have a healthy paranoia when it comes to security, but that's just the sysadmin in me coming out
Same issue in Brisbane for me. Stop the server, add online-mode=false to the server.properties file and start the server again.
It's not the best workaround and I'd recommend putting up the firewalls, but at least you can play...
