Thank you, that worked.

Make sure you also Uninstall your previous versoins of Java, when updating, it doesn't always replace, instead just leaving the old one there. Also, The Minecraft Crash report will make things a tad easier to find the problem.

seems like it, i believe -xmx refers to max therefore -xmx512m would limit it to 512mb. but anyway, it worked, thank you very much.

was that limiting java to 512Mb of RAM?

where do I find the " _JAVA_OPTIONS environment variable"

The new Direwolf20 1.6.4 with the Jadedcat Mixpack

That's just it, None of them are working for any of the mod packs for me, each time i try to download it for a different mod pack (for testing purposes), none of them download.

I'm trying to Download and install a texture pack for the FTB Launcher's "TEXTUREPACKS" Tab, but none of them will Download. A Mini window appears to hint that it is downloading, then disappears almost instantly. Issue has only happened since the Launcher's 1.3.3 Update.

I had to disable Chicken Chunks just so it would work. (Whatever that does)

double click the tab at the top of your screen, then it should revert to standard. I had the same issue, and i think that is how i fixed it
