Is it possible to format Refined Storage disks? If so, how?

    Fitting Blood Magic rituals together

Is it possible to fit a Ritual of Containment, Well of Suffering, Gathering of the Forsaken Souls, Crack of the Fractured Crystal, and Call of the Zephyr together? If so, what order do they all need to be in? And can you fit the whole lot under a blood altar?

    Problem Question(s) about Roots

Yeah, Roots seems decidedly underwhelming, on the whole. I love the aesthetic, so it's really disappointing that it doesn't actually do anything much worthwhile. I mean, the special unique mod tools are... identical to iron tools except that they self repair. When a mod's top tier gear is...

    Item storage in Beyond

What item storage solutions are there in FTB Beyond? I've done Applied Energistics before, I don't particularly want to do it again, but at the same time it's hard to give up that level of convenience. Is there anything else in the pack - or in any mods I could add to an existing world - that...

    PSI recipes

I wouldn't say it's my main interest, but it's certainly an interest. Mostly Beyond just looked like a good 1.10 kitchen sink pack. Is there any way to un-tweak the recipes?

    PSI recipes

I've just spun up an FTB Beyond world, and I'm interested in getting into PSI. Looking in NEI, though, the base machines take two dragon eggs each, and a bunch of other expensive stuff. What's going on?

Why is jarmodding not supported in ftb 1.6.4+ ?

It's not impossible, because Factorization does it. The implementation possibly leaves something to be desired, but it absolutely works as proof of concept.

What cool little thing have you discovered today?

I haven't actually tested it, but from looking over the source code, the Arcane Engineering Node Destabilizer should be able to convert any type of node into a Normal node, so long as you're willing to accept a 25% chance of ruining the node.

    Thaumcraft node manipulation - what?

Teleposing the Node Destabiliser away before it runs out of power makes the node remain hungry indefinitely. I still haven't managed to turn the destabiliser off safely in my survival world.

    Thaumcraft node manipulation - what?

There's nothing in the thaumonomicon entry to suggest that it's redstone sensitive, and there's also the fact that it's right next to a hungry node and thus redstone may well get broken. Worth a try though. I intend to experiment tonight with teleposing the destabiliser away to see what happens...

    Thaumcraft node manipulation - what?

So I did a bit of testing in my creative world and found that it works fine. If you leave the node destabiliser with a low power buffer for too long, the node has a chance to corrupt into a 1 vitium tainted node, but generally you can depower the destabiliser and the node just stops being...

    Thaumcraft node manipulation - what?

Add on wise, we have: Automagy, Thaumic Tinkerer, Thaumic Exploration, Thaumic Horizons, Node Mechanics, Gadomancy, Forbidden Magic, Arcane Engineering, Magic Bees, and potentially one or two others. I think there's another one to do with eldritch/forbidden stuff?

    Thaumcraft node manipulation - what?

Actually, I was planning on using Blood Magic teleposers to move my nodes around. Far easier than jarring them, and doesn't damage them. The JABBA dolly is also an option, as I understand it. I think so, yes. Enough to start trying to play with it, anyway.

    Thaumcraft node manipulation - what?

but if you have multiple nodes, then won't they bully each other until you only have one - unless they're stabilised, which cuts the replenish rate anyway? We have Arcane Engineering in the pack, so I'm intending to grow nodes by using the Node Destabiliser to make them hungry, and throw stacks...
