Just thought I'd add that theres also the Forge Lexicon. I know its not a machine but if you empower it every ingot you pick up will be converted. I think you can also wear it in a bauble slot.

I used a mod called MyTown its a forge version of towny. Works perfectly as it was designed for the mindcrack pack so it has most the IDs. Even has user controleable disabling/enabling of turtles,quarrys etc in their claimed town. There is also GriefPrevention for bukkit (golden shovel claiming)...

this one is better. Im using it on unleashed and have seen no missing textures or anything when i use the other one, lava doesnt show in tanks and the ic2 drills and chainsaws are missing textures Im using this pack but with the MFE/MFSU texture from the other (because it has the new armour slots)
