i went through trying your troubleshooting of downloading ftb unleashed etc and still nothing. I also have deleted ftb all together and minecraft and redownload it all and same issue... (java is up to date) here is the pastebin http://pastebin.com/1t01Y9ma

that's the problem I saw no level.dat until I notice there was one called level.dat_old I removed the _old saved it, then open in mcedit then fixed it then change it back to level.dat_old. Its all working now thank you for the help!

Second fix also uses mcedit >.< but as I said above I did fix it by removing the _old from the level.dat file and I am able to open the world in mcedit. Thank you for the assistance

yeah unfortunately idk how to open my map in mc edit as there is no level.dat Update: I notice theres a level.dat_old i removed the _old open mc edite mdae the change then changed it back to orginal name and boom it worked. thank you for ling that posted

how to open a ftb modpack in mc edit? when I navigate to the folder where my map is in idk which 1 will I need to open I tried a few and so far nothing opens.

so do I need to deleted the leve.dat file before copying? cause I did a straight copy create a new world and past into same one yet I dose same thing and crashes and removes it form the list.
