You're right, sorry. I added the redstone cells and removed a part of my ME network which was outside of my loaded chunks. Still can't craft a redstone torch.

We don't have actively cooled reactors in the version we're playing, only the boring ones.

Not that I've noticed. Some times there's some pretty bad chat and/or block lag but everything else seems to be working fine. I can't think of anything relevant to your question anyway. Other issues I've noticed is that itemducts don't seem to like chunk boundaries and redstone energy conduits...
