That is a great suggestion. I shall report back after trying that later today. I was thinking about trying to use them to kind of move a node. I have 3 but there is a node semi-close to base so I think I could kite it over with three of them.

Maybe that's it. Is it just me or is that a strange idea. I mean isn't the point of those trees to put some more vis in the atmosphere? Maybe I'm misunderstanding the point though. How do I get more vis in the area that I want the trees?

Okay final update for people having the same issue. DO NOT install Java 7 for mac. The launcher doesn't work at all with Java 7. I think we'll just have to wait and see if patches fix this.

I think the issue here is most likely on my side. I'll probably do that but it is a pain on the Mac given that you can't install versions distributed by Oracle. You have to get the Java distribution that Apple gives out. I figured I'd post just so you all could see it. I've done a fresh FTB...

Yep OS is 64-bit. To my knowledge all versions of OSX past 10.5.2 are 64-bit. As for the Java from what I've seen in the logs it is 64-bit as well. Once again I would assume so. If it helps, I haven't screwed with the Java at all. Whatever version is running is I have gotten from software...
