Do you know why that will never happen? Mindcrack is not maintained by the FTB team, as long as the mindcrack guys play whit gregtech there is nothing the FTB community can do to remove it(not to mention that the one who really likes gregtech is etho who has 1 million viewers backing him up)

Twilight forest "dark towers" have mini ghast spawners in them, much easier and faster to farm them that way.

The thing about forestry is that the new multi-farms no longer require bronze, and there is absolutely no reason to have dozens of the other machines as they are made in such a way that once you supply them whit a decent amount of power they go really fast.

The real problem whit solar is that you can upgrade them whit compact solar/advanced solar. IIRC ic2 windmills actually get a 20% boost in energy production in rain and a 50% boost in energy production in rainstorm.
