Did you download the world map? It's not included by default. A button on the client directs you to the correct location.

Presumably, you can activate it yourself and find out. I wouldn't worry about balance, as there is none in this pack. While TT Kami is insanely powerful, at least it's expensive and difficult to acquire. And yet, you won't need it as early in the game you have access to hang gliders...

Fair warning: Version 1.2.1 seems stable for clients, but your server won't start until you disable the "Resourceloader" mod on the server side. Also note that at least one Ascended staff (lightning) crashes the server when fired.

And here I'm thinking it's a lifesaver. I've yet to lose anything with those bodies, unlike the grave system, or simply tossing everything you own into the lava/a fiery creeper explosion...

Thanks, Jmagus2000. I'll give it a shot, though I think I'm better off waiting for a proper fix. Especially since the author hasn't released a change log, so I don't know what was fixed/added/changed in 1.2 or 1.2.1.

Thank you for the quick response to server 1.2 crashes. Alas, 1.2.1 is worse, as it the server will not load at all on CreeperHost. I have attached the crash log.

You aren't alone. How do we download the 1.64 version manually?

I have exactly the same issue. Soartex will not install in any modpack since the last FTB launcher update. It worked a version or two ago.
