Something must be different, then. Clay Golem assigned to the proper side always worked slick as shit for me. Wish I had access to my hardware, I would update and maybe find a solution.

Unless things have changed drastically during my hiatus, the inventory slots Golems interact with are tied to which side of the block you assign them to.

He's already gathered his Dirt and Sand, it's not like you NEED an autofarm for the stuff. I'm more amused that he's back to eating nothing now that Sips isn't around to lovetap his last hearts away.

The little guys will plant extra seeds in eligible spaces when they drop. If you leave it alone it should all balance out, unless the RNG hates your guts.

Have you journeyed to the Nether Farlands? Have you made a filled 12x12x12 Tesseract Replica? Have you built Space Station 13? Have you made a Testificate Arcology? There's all manner of stuff for you to do, the only goals are the ones you make.

Honestly I just use the stuff for decoration and torch replacement. I don't much like how it lights up natural caves (ever-so-slightly decreased challenge) and gets Steve's Carts turned 180 and boring back through my base, but the things are just so damned glitzy when you start hanging them on...
