Turtles terrify me. I wish I had the time to learn how to program them, but I don't. Plus I'm studying ME not CS. I guess overly complicated systems with little programming are more of an ME thing :P.

That's odd. I've been using ender pearl dust pumped in from my farm for a long time. It doesn't make it faster, but it only uses 4 dusts instead of the 30 or so scrap per UUM created. I'm on the latest Mindcrack, no config tweaks.

If your end goal is just the cobble farm (not necessarily messing with turtles, there are far easier ways to do it. I did a RP2 block break setup once that worked really well. But even easier is the igneous extruder from TE.

I'm actually still having this problem, even though I use a a chunk loader that very easily covers the area of my 4 turtles. Each turtle also has multiple hundreds of thousands of fuel, and a chest to dump in to. If I leave the area, even just for a moment, I come back to them frozen in place...

Yes they're made with bronze, similar to BC pipes. Transposers don't need any weird things to build, but the more powerful filters need a red doped wafer, which is made with RP2 processes. Timers, another essential part, aren't super crazy to build either.

Is there any particular reason you're using BC pipes instead of RP2? If the issue is just familiarity, I'd suggest just learning RP2 tubes, since IMO they're better in every way. They don't eject items if an inventory is full. They move fast in the pipes. They only need redstone to power...
