Problem Crashing because i typed in I.P. Address?

My launcher runs fine but i can't type in my friends i.p. address or it crashes. I can't type but the first 2 numbers.

Yep I get the exact same error. I've been having issues with this java.lang.NullPointerException error a long time and nothing seems to flippin fix it. Would be very grateful for any solution to this error.

Im also currently running Mac OSX 10.7.5
I noticed that I crash when I press number zero (0). Minecraft instantly crash when I press that button. Any other number is fine it seems like.

I've got the same error I don't know how to fix it but all I did was just type it in a Notepad And move it over That should work
