Hey there, I recently noticed something weird going on in my new world I made(Looking through recipes crashed my game in my previous world and then completely corrupted it) and sometimes I am unable to craft things with wood, I.E Sticks with 2x Wooden Planks, Chests with 8x Wooden Planks, I put the pieces in my crafting terminal from AE and nothing comes up in the retrieval box.

There are no errors in the console once I get this, and the only way I found to fix this at the moment is completely rebooting the client. Which is a bit annoying since the game takes quite some time to re-start, and doing that constantly kind of takes away the fun.

I used Jungle Wood for this, I have seem the same issue with Oak Wook, no other wood has been tested. Is this a known issue or does anyone know a fix for this? Because it is a really weird problem.

Have you by any chance added any mods to the pack which you forgot to mention?

I did forget to mention that I added Veinminer, but that is the only mod I have added myself. However I do not really see how veinminer can interfere with crafting. :S

Can you craft the items normally in a Crafting table? And is it just wood?
Is it just the crafting terminal that causes the problem and is it periodic(just some times)? If so then it is probably the ME network freeze bug(though I am not experienced with if it affects the crafting terminal, never use it myself). You will have to do something that reboots the network then(if this is the case), such as breaking a cable/terminal and replacing it. If that helps you can automate this by setting up a Timer + Not Gate + Dark cable somewhere and set it to cut connections to some component in the network every 10 mins or so. It is a known bug that wont be fixed in the 1.6 versions.
 
I don't think it's JUST the crafting terminal, since I couldn't even craft a crafting table in my own inventory 2x2 crafting window. And it's also just wood, I haven't encountered the issue with any other type of resource.

Does the wood you are trying to use have any special ID attributes to it? other than the ":3" for Jungle planks

Backup world, remove veinminer, see if it fixes it, if it does 'there's your problem' if it doesn't then change whatever else you've changed back.
