Hi guys,

I have some trouble in techworld 2 and I hope someone can help me.
I have set up my very first energy-system in a new world. I want to power my basic AE-System with water mills so I created the following setup:
- 8 water mills in a water tower with 2EU/t output each
- 1 batbox
- 1 me cotroller connected to 1 me crafting terminal and 1 me drive with 3 x 1k storage cells

- batbox on the very left
- me controller next to it
- me crafting terminal on top of me controller
- me drive on the other side of the controller

My me controller says I need 5,6EU/t in total, my water mills generate 16 (8x2) EU/t. My problem now is that my me system is in an on-off state. It stores about 100EU/t before it falls down to 0. And again, store up to 100EU/t, fall down to 0.

Now I've tried different things (connected with tin cabled, 32EU/t):
- connect the mills to the batbox -> energy is faster empty than it can fill up, ae system on/off
- connect the mills to the me controller directly -> the behavior I described above (on/off).

Could someone please tell me what I am doing wrong? Am I doing something wrong? Which block should I connect to the water mills? May they stand next to each other or should I place a cable between? Where is my energy?

Greetings
Neuro

basically your mill setup isn't enough to keep network going. unless your setup produces more than 32 EU/t then there is no difference if you connect power directly into network or trough batbox.

from what i remember(so this info may very well be outdated) water mill generates up to 1 EU/t based on quantity of water blocks around it, and 2EU/t if they are fueled by water via container.

Hmmm.... I read a lot about water mills, the informations are somewhat different. But it seems you are right, ftbwiki says the following:
21 * 0.010 = 0.21 EU/t from each watermill, meaning roughly 2.3 EU/t from each tower section (11 watermills)
So this should mean I need 11 mills for only 2,3EU/t. But when I'm looking at one mill WAILA says "2EU/t". Weird....
If I add a generator to my batbox (10 EU/t), everything is fine, but I don't have enough coal to keep it running...

i think WAILA shows 2EU/t because it shows maximum output of generator. try using EU reader to check actual output.
EU-reader wont work in IC2E sadly. Disabled until the power network is "stable".
