Rainbow leaves farm?

Hey!

Me and a friend wanted to create a Rainbow Leaves farm (Leaves of an oak tree).
Basicly the idea was to let something place the block and then let something destroy it like shears do (in a loop).
We tried using mining turtles, even with the More Turtles mod custom installed.
We use the Monster modpack and have no idea how to do this.

If anyone could help or throw some ideads, that would be great.

I tried to do that but when I placed a leave in front of it, it didnt get sheared.

I just tried that but it only gives me the leaves and not the other drops. (Dye etc)

I prefer to have both so I won't run out of leaves.

Oh, I forgot to say that I dont want to use saplings. Just the leaves we gathered.

just use 2 autonomous activators 1 with a bunch of shears and 1 to place the leaves and a vac hopper to collect the drops

Sorry, not sorry for the minor necro,I just have to say this is really clever, props for figuring it out, but it's a bit of an exploit and needs to be fixed if it hasn't already (and if it's possible)

if your leaves act just like vanilla leaves then theres the problem vanilla leaves have given saplings/apples while shearing for aslong as i can remember
