(Assuming the mods Thaumcraft and Twilight Forest).

MPS and a number of end game armor mods are available in a vast majority of mod packs, and Blood Magic and other mods also provide excellent end game survive-ability.

My question relates to the more mundane: What would be considered the best set of enchantments for navigating (at least) Twilight Forest content.

I do most of my adventuring in Goggles of Revealing, a Thaumostatic harness, Thaumium Leggings and Boots of the Traveller.

This set, while useful, only fills the armor bar 5/10 shields, so enchanting it for protection is a must.

I normally just put Protection IV on all of them (thaumic infusion enchanting ftw) but was wondering if there was an alternate analysis. Espeically as the minotaurs in the TF minotaur maze are slapping me around and im not sure if their damage is bypassing the protection enchants somehow.

For traveling, to replace your boots of traveller with a Demon Blood Shard, a Sigil of the Fast Miner, an Air Sigil, and a Master Blood Orb.

It allows you to run and jump much faster/higher, and makes you resistant to fall damage. The Blood Orb removes the LP cost of the Sigils, so you don't have to worry about that

Full Bound Armor, put Goggles into the Headgear, and make the rest of your binding worth it.
Or, just make runic armor.
Or... Kill first, take hits never. Not getting hit is always your best defense.

Thaumium is cheap, runic and sanguine are not :P

Runic and Bound are both indestructible (at least I think runic is) though. Bound also has quite a few perks due to the way it's created, while Thaumium is basically just a purple iron armor.

Thaumium is slightly stronger, and can carry enchantments better, which is fine.

So one should use the cheapest armor possible? Guess I'll be fine with the suit I made on day one, wooden armor.
