I'm still following DireWolf20 and trying to get all that pneumaticrafty stuff going, but something calls to me...It's siren call beckons me to my basement where.. my MFR mining laser has collected all these blocks of Uranium ore. Been a long time since I last posted, been busy :)

So, I just had to dump it all into my Rock Crusher, then.. well, I had to build a washer machine, and now, I have hundreds of Quad Fuel Rods of Uranium :)

Quickly discovered that picking up a stack of 64 of these things without wearing a hazard suit is a REALLY BAD IDEA lol.

So that gets me to my topic, nuclear reactors.. IC2 nuclear reactors.... since DW20 doesn't have Mechanism or the 'Big Reactor' mods I thought i'd go for nukes...

Does anyone have some tips for a newbie playing with really dangerous stuff like uranium fuel rods?

Unless that obsidian is warded it's not gonna do much if that goes bang... 4 layers of reinforced stone or glass required to contain a nuke blast, if you don't know what you're doing I highly highly advise encasing that
